At approximately 4:07 p.m. on July 3, 2024, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of Broadway and Main Street in response to a reported shooting, according to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes
Upon arrival, officers found two victims: a 56-year-old female from Clifton and a 35-year-old male from Paterson.
Both individuals were transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment of non-fatal gunshot wounds.
Police were able to identify a potential crime scene at the location.
The investigation is currently active and ongoing.
