According to a statement released by police, at approximately 11:00 p.m., police responded to an address on Cutty Court in reference to a child burn victim who received burns from a candle and hot wax.
Upon arrival, police say Silverton EMS and MONOC Paramedics were on scene rendering treatment.
The victim was flown to St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by Hackensack 2 Medivac for his burns.
Police say there were no obvious signs of suspicious activities or foul play regarding this incident.
