A 33-year-old man shot multiple time in the area of Old Bergen Road and Neptune Avenue has died, according to officials.
According to officials, the shooting was reported at approximately 11:45 a.m.
Upon arrival, the unidentified victim was rushed to Jersey City Medical Center with four gunshot wounds on his chest, back and leg.
He was declared dead at the hospital earlier today, officials confirmed this afternoon.
Cops on the scene were searching the area for a blue 4-door vehicle that was fleeing the area occupied by a black male who is reported to be around the age 20-years-old.
The incident remains under investigation.
