Authorities are currently examining a fatal shooting incident in Elizabeth as part of an ongoing investigation.
The Union County Prosecutor's Office said In in the early hours of Saturday, August 12th, Elizabeth Police Officers promptly responded to a distress call concerning a male who had sustained a gunshot wound in the vicinity of North Broad Street and Magnolia Avenue in Elizabeth.
Upon reaching the scene, officials said they identified the victim as Mr. Jameer Outsey, 27, from Bridgewater.
Outsey was swiftly transported to University Hospital where regrettably he was pronounced deceased.
The case remains an active and ongoing investigation.
