Authorities have identified a man killed in a motorcycle crash this morning in Parsippany.
According to NJ State Police officials, the crash occurred before 10:30 a.m. in the westbound lane of I-280 near mile marker three where officers arrived to find two damaged motorcycles with the drivers suffering injuries at that location.
The most seriously injured of the pair was found unconscious and unresponsive authorities said. The victim later died of his injuries at the scene.
The man has been identified as Mr. James Harris 53, of Newark.
EMS transported the other motorcyclist to Morristown Medical Center suffering non-life threatening injuries.
The official cause of the crash is under investigation.
