Newark Police are on the search for a suspect wanted for robbing a McDonald's in the city Tuesday morning.
It happened around 7:15 a.m. at the McDonald's in the 100 block of Clinton Avenue on the border of Newark Central and South Wards.
Officials say the suspect reportedly walked up to the drive-through window, pointed a gun, then robbed the establishment for an unknown amount of cash.
Police believe the suspect is described as a black man who wore a green hoodie, a black mask, black pants with gray stripes, and black and white shoes.
The armed assailant was last seen driving a red Hyundai.
Police reported no physical injuries.
