Passaic County authorities announced that at approximately 10:50 p.m. Friday, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of North 6th Street and Temple Street in Paterson on a report of a shooting.
Upon arrival responding officers located a potential crime scene and a 33-year-old male Ridgewood resident who sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
Police say the victim was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson for treatment and is in stable condition.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
