Passaic County officials announced that Paterson Police responded to a report of a shooting at approximately 11:10 p.m. on August 23.
The incident occurred near the intersection of Highland Street and Sparrow Street in Paterson.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a 31-year-old Paterson resident suffering from non-fatal gunshot wounds.
The victim was immediately transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment.
Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes confirmed that the Paterson Police Department located a potential crime scene.
The investigation remains active and ongoing, with authorities seeking more information about the incident.
