There were non-life threatening injuries reported for a man who was stabbed outside a nightclub in Elizabeth on Sunday morning.
According to a statement released by Elizabeth city Spokeswoman Kelly Martins, the incident happened in the teens block of Broad Street at around 3 a.m. where police were notified of an injured person.
According to spokeswoman Martins, officers arrived and found a 28-year-old man suffering a minor stab wound in his chest at that location.
Spokeswoman Martins said the initial investigation appeared that an altercation occurred outside of Dolce's nightclub and after the establishment ended operations for the day.
The investigation remains active and ongoing according to spokeswoman Martins.
