Passaic County officials announced that at approximately 2:58 a.m. on August 16, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of Rosa Parks Boulevard and Keen Street in Paterson on a report of shots fired.
Upon arrival, responding officers located a potential crime scene, but were unable to identify a victim.
A short time later, members of the Paterson Police Department were advised that a 26-year-old male Paterson resident arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson for treatment of a non-fatal gunshot wound.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
