Passaic County officials are reporting that at approximately 6:24 p.m. Sunday, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of 12th Avenue and Carroll Street on a report of shots fired.
Official said upon arrival, members of the police located a 25-year-old male, a 17-year-old juvenile, and 29-year-old male all Paterson residents in the area of Carroll and Harrison streets suffering multiple non-fatal gunshot wounds.
Police say all three victims were immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment.
In addition, a potential crime scene was located in the area.
A short time later police said members of the Paterson Police Department were advised a 28-year-old male and a 24-year-old male both Paterson residents arrived at Saint Joseph’s Medical Center seeking treatment of non-fatal gunshot wounds.
Police say the 24- year-old male Paterson resident is currently in critical condition but all other victims are in stable condition.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
