A 15-year-old boy was treated for a non-fatal gunshot wound at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center after an incident that occurred in Paterson.
According to information released by the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office, Paterson Police were dispatched to the hospital around 5:25 p.m. on December 28, 2024, following reports that the juvenile had arrived seeking medical attention.
Authorities have confirmed that the investigation is still ongoing.
Officials have not disclosed further details about the circumstances surrounding the shooting but assured the public that more information will be shared as it becomes available.
The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office is urging anyone with relevant information to come forward.
