UPDATE: 13-Year-Old, Two Senior Citizens Found Shot in Passaic

A shooting in Passaic left three people injured, including a 13-year-old, after shots were fired near Aspen Place and Columbia Avenue on the evening of November 8, according to a statement released by the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office.NinosOfficials said at approximately 7:20 p.m., Passaic Police officers responded to reports of gunfire in the area. 

Upon arrival, officers found three victims suffering from non-fatal gunshot wounds: a 13-year-old, a 71-year-old woman, and a 90-year-old man, all residents of Passaic.

The injured were promptly transported to St. Joseph's University Medical Center in Paterson and St. Mary's Hospital in Passaic for medical treatment.

Investigators were able to identify a possible crime scene in the area. The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office has stated that the investigation remains active and ongoing, and more information will be provided as it becomes available.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
