Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp and New Jersey State Police Acting Superintendent Patrick Callahan can confirm that two individuals sustained fatal injuries as a result of the motor vehicle crash that occurred during the morning hours of May 17th on Route 80 in Mt. Olive Township, New Jersey.
Jennifer Williamson, 51, of Paramus, New Jersey died as a result of injuries sustained during this incident. Ms. Williamson was employed as a 5th grade teacher with the East Brook Middle School.
Miranda Vargas, 10, also died as a result of injuries sustained during this incident. Police say, Vargas, was a 5th grade student at the East Brook Middle School.
Multiple other individuals sustained injuries of varying severity as a result of this incident.
