My friends and family in Newark are waking up to record-high October temperatures this Wednesday, with a warm 59 degrees to start the day.
If you’re a fan of the 1970s, you’re in luck, as we’ll hit that mark today, and it’s already starting to get warmer and humid this morning.
According to the National Weather Service, it’s partly to mostly cloudy at 4:30 a.m., but this afternoon will be mostly sunny, with temperatures nearing 77 degrees.
As we approach Halloween, temperatures are set to soar into the 80s, giving us an unseasonably warm end to October.
