There were no severe injuries reported in a collision that involved an ambulance on a street in Newark Wednesday evening.
According to preliminary reports, the collision happened near the intersection of Springfield Avenue and Prince Street just before 8:05 p.m.
Police arrived to find a University Hospital ambulance involved in a collision with a black SUV at that location.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
