The community of Irvington Township is gearing up for a day of unity and celebration as The Honorable Mayor Tony Vauss and the Municipal Council proudly present Unity Day.
Officials said this exciting event is set to take place on Saturday, August 12th, from noon to 6 p.m. at Councilman David Lyons Park, formerly known as Orange Park, located at 1253 Clinton Avenue.
Unity Day promises to be an unforgettable experience for all attendees, with a jam-packed schedule of live music performances featuring some incredible artists.
Township officials said the event will kick off with DJ Qua spinning lively beats to get the crowd moving and grooving.
As the day progresses, the stage will come alive with performances from some of the hottest names in the music industry. Hip-hop legend Doug E. Fresh will take the stage, bringing his signature style and infectious energy to the event.
Joining him will be the soulful sounds of Ras Anthony, whose music will surely touch the hearts of the audience.
R&B sensation Carl Thomas will serenade the crowd with his smooth and soulful vocals, while VMusic will keep the party going with their dynamic and electrifying performance. And that's not all – the talented Valarie Adams and the Dimension Band will grace the stage, adding their own unique flare to the celebration.
