Tickets are still available for the Township of Union’s National Women’s History Month Celebration and Mixer on March 24 at Kava Restaurant, located at 1998 Morris Avenue in Union at 5:30 p.m.
The 2016 National Women's History Month theme honors women who have shaped America’s history and its future through their public service and government leadership.
This event will not only allow participants to network with other community leaders, movers and shakers, but will also honor Patricia Guerra-Frazier for her public service and dedication to the youth of the Township of Union; and will also feature a performance by Diane Parker honoring the life of Fannie Lou Hamer, voting rights activist, civil rights leader, and philanthropist.
This is a free event; in lieu of admission fees we will be collecting donations for Women for Women, a 501(c)(3) helping women all over the world.
Limited spaces are available and registration is required. Register at UnionWomensMonth.eventbrite.com.
