Bloomfield Police have arrested Mr. Guervens Bordes, a 25-year-old man from Elizabeth, Union County, after he was caught stealing hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise from a CVS store in the township.
The incident occurred on July 14 when police responded to a report of shoplifting at the CVS located at 331 Broad Street.
According to the store manager, Bordes removed electronic items valued at $491.19 from the display case and left the store without paying.
Officers were able to locate Bordes nearby and arrested him without further incident.
He was then transported to Bloomfield Police Headquarters for processing.
