Union County authorities are investigating circumstances behind a body found inside a vehicle burning in Union.
According to prelimnary reports firefighters were called to the parking lot of the Ideal Professional Building complex located at Morris Avenue and Lousons Road after 5am Friday morning where they extinguished the blaze.
A search of the vehicle had firefighters locate the remains of an unidentified person during their inspection.
The Union County Prosecutor's Office arrived at the scene to take over the active and ongoing investigation.
