Two Women Sought for Questioning in Newark Shots Fired Incident

Authorities in Newark are investigating an aggravated assault that occurred on December 24, 2024, and are seeking public assistance in locating two women wanted for questioning.

Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda Sr. announced that Ms. Tina Riggsbee, 36, and Ms. Christina Lalin, 35, are being sought in connection with the incident.  

Police responded to reports of gunfire at Clinton Avenue and South 16th Street at approximately 12:36 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a .45 caliber shell casing in the area.

Surveillance footage captured an unidentified individual firing shots toward the 900 block of South 16th Street before fleeing the scene in a red sedan.
