Two winning tickets will split the $867,650 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot from the Saturday, June 25 drawing.
Each ticket is worth $433,825. Those tickets were sold in Monmouth and Somerset Counties at the following locations:
· Monmouth County: Stop & Shop #2812, 160 Village Center Dr., Freehold; and
· Somerset County: Herb’s Liquor, 194 Somerset St., North Plainfield.
Executive Director Carole Hedinger said that the two winning tickets sold for Saturday’s drawing matched all five numbers drawn.
The winning numbers were: 04, 18, 26, 37 and 42. “We are thrilled that the winning jackpot tickets were sold at Stop & Shop #2812 & Herb’s Liquor,” said Hedinger. “The retailers will each receive a bonus check for $2,000 for selling these winning tickets. Overnight, they have become two more ‘lucky locations’ for the very fortunate lottery winners.”
Hedinger also noted that 5,191 other players won $156,588 in cash prizes in the Saturday drawing.
For correctly picking four numbers, 124 players won cash prizes of $609 each, and for correctly matching three numbers, 5,067 players won.
