Mercer County officials are investigating a two-vehicle crash with a driver fighting for their life at a hospital in the city.
At approximately 9:30 p.m., emergency responders rushed to Chambers Street near McKinley Avenue to investigate reports of a crash with trapped occupants.
Upon arrival, police found the crash scene with the driver of one of the vehicles severely injured, unconscious and unresponsive at that location.
EMS provided CPR on the injured driver before rushing them to Capital Health Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The victim is reportedly in grave condition.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
