Two-Vehicle Crash Causes Injuries in Newark's South Ward

A late-night collision in Newark’s South Ward resulted in hospitalization for at least one person, with Newark Police currently investigating the incident.AdThe crash occurred around 1:50 a.m. at the intersection of Elizabeth Avenue and Clinton Avenue.

Emergency units, including the University Hospital Rescue Squad and Newark firefighters, responded to the scene. Upon arrival, they found two vehicles involved in the crash, with occupants trapped inside.

First responders used tools to extricate the victims from the damaged vehicles. 

One of the individuals was transported to University Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The conditions of other involved parties have not been disclosed at this time.

The crash remains under active investigation as authorities work to determine the cause and any contributing factors.AdAny witnesses or anyone with information about the crash is urged to come forward to assist with the ongoing Newark Police investigation.
