Authorities in Newark request the public’s help in identifying the suspects in connection with a package theft that occurred on Friday, August 4, 2023.
Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé reported police responded to a residence in the 300 block of South 9th Street on a call of a theft.
According to authorities, a victim’s package, containing two pairs of Nike Air Force One sneakers, valued at $130.00 each, was stolen after the shipment was delivered to the residence.
Officials said that detectives investigating this incident obtained video footage of a female and male suspect stealing the package and are seeking the public’s help in quickly identifying them.
