Police are investigating a shooting that injured two victims in Jersey City Wednesday.
The late-night shooting happened around 11 p.m. in the vicinity of Bidwell and Ocean avenues.
Police responded to reports of shots fired in the neighborhood and when they arrived, officers found a person suffering a bullet wound in their back.
Authorities also found a second person struck in the buttocks after units canvassed the scene.
Both victims were transported to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment and are expected to survive.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
No arrests have been reported.
