Authorities in Mercer County are looking into the motive for a set of shooting incidents that injured four victims Wednesday.
According to Trenton Police, the first incident happened at approximately 6:10 p.m. when gunfire rang out in the area of Highland and Stuyvesant avenues.
Fast responding police officers arrived and found three victims suffering non-life threatening bullet wounds at that location. Police say the victims were rushed to an area hospital for treatment.
In a separate shooting, police say one person was rushed to the hospital by private vehicle after gunfire rang out in the 100 block of Cleveland Avenue shortly before midnight.
According to police, the victim reported that an unidentified male suspect approached and began to fire before he ran from the scene.
Both incidents are under investigation and no arrests have been made.
