The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office is intensifying efforts to locate a suspect responsible for a shooting that left two individuals injured in Paterson Wednesday night.
The incident occurred shortly before 11:55 p.m. when officers responded to reports of gunfire near North Bridge Street and Watson Avenue.
Units arrived at the scene, secured the area, and called for emergency medical services after discovering two victims with gunshot wounds.
One of the victims received CPR on the scene before being transported to St. Joseph's Hospital for further treatment.
Meanwhile, the suspect fled the area and is currently at large. The motive behind the shooting remains under investigation, and authorities have not made any arrests in connection with the case.
The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office is urging anyone with information regarding the incident to come forward and assist in their ongoing investigation.
