NJ State Police officials are investigating a crash that severely injured two victims on a highway in Burlington County Sunday.
The early morning collision reportedly involved a box truck, tow truck and an SUV in the northbound lanes of I-295 near mile marker 46.6 Westampton shortly before 3:35 a.m.
Troopers arrived at the scene and found the collision with two victims trapped in an SUV off the shoulder of the road.
According to preliminary reports, at least one of the two victims received CPR at the scene while firefighters worked to rescue the second occupant.
State Police closed a portion of the highway for the investigation.
