Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Emergency medical services personnel worked to stabilize the victim, managing to establish a pulse before rushing him to University Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

The shooting appears to have been a targeted attack, with the suspect firing multiple shots at close range.

In the second incident, a ShotSpotter device was activated, alerting police to a single gunshot in the area of South Orange Avenue and Vermont.

West Ward Officers arrived to find an unconscious and unresponsive male with a gunshot wound to his upper torso. His condition is described as "grave."

The suspect fled the scene and is currently at large.
