Two lucky tickets matched all five numbers drawn splitting the $689,956 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot from the Thursday, Oct. 25th drawing. Each ticket is worth $344,978.
The winning numbers were: 12, 17, 29, 31 and 40 and the XTRA number was: 02.
Those tickets were sold at the following locations:
Monmouth County: Deal Food Mart, 807 Deal Rd., Ocean; and
Monmouth County: Welsh Farm #9, 101 Broad Street, Eatontown.
Acting Executive Director James Carey said, “We are thrilled that the winning jackpot tickets were sold at Deal Food Mart and Welsh Farms #9. The retailers will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for each winning ticket sold. Overnight, they have become two more ‘lucky locations’ for the very fortunate lottery winners.”
Carey announced that there were 618,440 tickets purchased for the drawing. By adding XTRA, for an additional $1.00 per play, winners are able to multiply their non-jackpot prizes by the XTRA number drawn.
For correctly matching four of the five numbers drawn, 111 ticketholders won $517 each and 7 others won $1,034 each with the addition of XTRA. Moreover, for correctly matching three of the five numbers drawn, 3,821 ticketholders won $15 each and 565 others won $30 each with the addition of XTRA.
Lastly 7,323 ticketholders each won $2 for correctly matching two of the five numbers drawn with the addition of XTRA on their purchase.
