Two Men Accused of Robbing PNC Bank in Mt. Ephraim

Authorities today announced that two New Jersey men have been arrested for reportedly robbing a PNC Bank over the weekend.

According to police, John Dymond, 32, of Erial, and Justin Trewin, 32, of Bellmawr, have been charged with Robbery in connection to a bank robbery that occurred in Mt. Ephraim on June 23rd.

Officials say Trewin entered the PNC Bank - located on the 200 block of North Black Horse Pike - Saturday afternoon and went up to one of the tellers. According to witnesses, Trewin demanded money while threatening the teller with a knife. Trewin allegedly then climbed over the counter and grabbed an undisclosed amount of money.

Officials say Trewin last seen getting into a vehicle that was operated by John Dymond.

There were no injuries reported, police added.

A Mt. Ephraim police officer, ultimately arrested John Dymond and Justin Trewin at the intersection of Kings Highway and the Black Horse Pike after conducting a motor vehicle stop.

Police charged both men with the first-degreeRobbery. The two men were also charged with Aggravated Assault, Conspiracy to Commit Robbery, Terroristic Threats, Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose and Resisting Arrest.

According to authorities, they were both remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility pending a pretrial detention hearing.

All persons charged with criminal offenses are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
