Orange Police are looking into a shooting that left two people injured in the city on Sunday evening.
According to preliminary reports, witnesses dialed 911 when rhey observed a male suspect exit a vehicle and fire a gun multiple times at two victims near the intersection of Snyder and North Center Street at approximately 3:50 p.m.
Officers rushed to the scene and taped the area off after they located about four shell casings at that location.
While officers search the crime scene, two severely injured males entered East Orange General Hospital suffering bullet wounds according to police.
The victims confirmed with police the shooting location and stated that the suspect entered the car that sped away from the scene towards Park Avenue.
Doctors treated life-threatening injuries according to police for both victims.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
