Two KIPP Newark Collegiate Academy Seniors were recently named recipients of the QuestBridge National College Match.
Fadloullah Adome and Fabian Castro were recently accepted to this program, which grants them early admission to one of QuestBridge's college partners with a full four-year scholarship worth over $200,000.
This program is highly competitive, especially for students like Fabian and Fadloullah, who exhibit outstanding academic achievement. In 2021, QuestBridge received over 16,500 applications.
Fadloullah will be attending Vanderbilt University and plans on majoring in computer engineering.
He has been involved in soccer, track, and he co-founded a gaming and development studio in 2020 that has hired five non-paid employees to create and run the studio.
Fabian will attend Haverford College and is planning to major in STEM education.
He has been involved in wrestling, track, student government and has ten siblings.
"The commitment to academic excellence shown by Fadloullah and Fabian is truly an inspiration to our entire KIPP Newark Collegiate Academy community and underscores our school values of humanity, excellence and courage," Sharmaine Lewis, School Leader, KIPP Newark Collegiate Academy, said.
