Essex County authorities, along with city leaders in Verona, are currently investigating a heart-wrenching incident that occurred Monday evening, where a falling tree tragically killed a man and his six-month-old grandchild.
Preliminary information indicated that the accident occurred around 7 p.m. at home near the intersection of East Lincoln Street and West Lincoln Street.
