Two individuals suffered non-fatal injuries in a stabbing at a bar in Newark's East Ward Sunday morning.
A preliminary investigation indicated that at approximately 2:50 a.m., police responded to reports of an aggravated assault in progress at 195 Ferry Street (Nuestra Casa Bar).
Upon arrival, police reportedly found a bar patron suffering a laceration to their eye.
Police say a further investigation indicated that a second victim suffered stab injuries In the vicinity of the nightclub after some type of dispute.
Newark detectives and ABC officials were on the scene of the incident and conducted the investigations.
The motive for the stabbing is under investigation and no arrests have been reported.
