Police reported nonfatal injuries in a stabbing incident that injured two victims in South Plainfield Sunday morning.
In a preliminary investigation, police responded to reports of a person stabbed in the 1000 block of Clinton Avenue just before 2 a.m.
Officers arrived and reportedly found two victims suffering stab wounds at that location.
Police say EMS transported the pair to Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center for treatment and they are expected to survive.
Police have not released the motive for the stabbings at this time.
