Police in South Brunswick are investigating the motive for a stabbing that injured two victims in South Brunswick Sunday evening.
According to police, at approximately 7:45 p.m., police received a call reporting two injured people at the Southridge Woods Townhouses complex.
Upon arrival, police found one person suffering a stab wound in their chest and a second victim suffering a slash wound in their arm at that location.
Police taped off the area and checked a vehicle that reportedly belonged to one of the victims.
According to police both of the injured were transported to an area hospital for treatment while police investigated at the scene for about two hours.
Circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation.
