Passaic County authorities are investigating a shooting incident that left two victims injured in Paterson on Saturday night.The incident occurred around 8:50 p.m. when police responded to reports of shots fired near 27 Park Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers found a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.
He was rushed to St. Joseph's Hospital, where he remains in serious condition.
While police and detectives from the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office searched the scene for evidence, a second individual with a gunshot wound was discovered in the 700 block of Main Street.
This victim was also transported to the hospital for treatment. Authorities believe the second victim may be connected to the Park Avenue shooting.
The investigation is ongoing, and no further details have been released at this time.
