Police in Newark are investigating a stabbing incident that injured two people in the city on Sunday evening.
According to authorities, police were flagged down near the South 6th Street side of The Emergency Services Unit headquarters by two victims bleeding from apparent stab wounds.
Authorities say, one of the victims suffered a stab injury to the head while the other unidentified person sustained a hand injury. Police say both injuries appeared to be non-life threatening in nature.
Both victims were transported to Univesity Hospital for treatment according to police.
The motive for the attack has not been released and no suspects have been found.
