Newark authorities are looking into a crash that left two people injured on a highway in Newark on Monday morning.
Police temporarily closed all lanes on Mccarter Highway at South Street after a crash caused serious injuries at approximately 2:10 a.m.
Emergency responders rushed to the scene of the crash where they found the victims out of the vehicle at that location.
The extent of the victims' injuries were not reported as life threatening and cause of the crash remains under investigation.
