Police in Newark are looking into the cause of a crash that injured two people on an interstate in Newark early Saturday morning.
According to preliminary reports, it happened around 1:39 a.m. on I-280 near Clifton Avenue in Newark.
Police say the violent crash cause at least one of the victims to eject from the vehicle onto the highway.
One person was transported to University Hospital in serious condition while the other victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Police say there were no other injuries reported.
