Two Homes Struck by Stray Bullets in Paterson

Police in Paterson are on the search for a suspect wanted for a shooting that caused property damage in a section of the city Sunday night.

According to police, the shooting happened at approximately 11:15 p.m.

Police were notified of a shooting in the vicinity of North 6th and Clinton streets and upon their arrival, they found several shell casings, but after a search of the area, no victims were found, according to police.

Two buildings were damaged after stray bullets struck them, but no one inside the homes were injured.

The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
