Two individuals have been detained in a shots-fired incident in a Newark neighborhood on Thursday.
The early morning shooting happened around 1 a.m. in the vicinity of 239 Peshine Avenue.
Police arrived at the scene and found evidence that a shooting had occurred, but after searching the neighborhood, no victims were found.
Officers conducting the investigation managed to identify and detain the two suspects they believed were connected with the shooting.
The motive is under investigation.
