Three patients were transported to an area hospital after vehicles they occupied collided in a section of Paterson on Monday.
Police, fire and EMS units were dispatched to the intersection of Lakeview Avenue and Market Street to investigate reports of a crash shortly before 2:45 a.m.
Upon arrival, police found two crashed vehicles with all but one of the occupants out of the cars.
The injured were transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital for treatment and are expected to recover.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
