The peaceful snowfall of Christmas morning was sadly interrupted as flames tore through a home in Englewood this.
Firefighters were called to 379 Lantanna Avenue at approximately 5:30 a.m. after they received calls for a fire inside a residence at that location.
Crews arrived to find heavy fire tearing through the rear of the two-story structure upon their arrival.
According to fire officials, the fire went to a second alarm sending mutual assistance from Teaneck, Hackensack, Tenafly, and Leonia.
Officials said flames extended throughout the home, then through the roof before it could be controlled.
There were no serious injuries or damage to neighboring homes.
