Firefighters battled a raging fire that tore through a house early Wednesday morning in NJ.
It happened in the Union County township of Springfield where firefighters, with mutual assistance from several towns, responded to the teens block of Fernhill Road just before 1 a.m.
Officials say crews arrive and found heavy fire engulfing a one and a half story house at that location.
Firefighters began to extinguish massive flames that ripped through the roof, causing a portion to collapse.
Crews were able to get inside the structure where a preliminary search indicated no trapped or injured occupants as of 1:30 a.m.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
