John M. White, New Jersey Lottery acting executive director, announced that there were two New Jersey tickets sold that matched the five white balls drawn winning the $1,000,000 second-tier prize for Feb. 9th drawing.

If those tickets had been purchased with the Megaplier option, it would have multiplied the prize to $3,000,000.

In addition, one ticket was sold that matched the four white balls and the Gold Mega Ball winning the $10,000 third-tier prize. If that ticket had been purchased with the Megaplier option, it would have multiplied the prize to $30,000.

The tickets were sold at the following locations:

* Burlington County ($1,000,000): Wegmans #8, 2 Centerton Rd., Mt. Laurel;

* Passaic County ($1,000,000): Millennium Express Inc., 400 21st Ave., Paterson; and

* Hudson County ($10,000): Manor Bar & Grill Inc., 729 Harrison Ave., Harrison.

The winning numbers for the Friday, Feb. 9 drawing were: 28, 34, 41, 46 and 47. The Gold Mega Ball was 14, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 03.

In addition, 10 other players matched four of the five white balls drawn making each ticket worth $500. Two of those tickets were purchased with the Megaplier option, multiplying the prize to $1,500. Moreover, 28,255 other New Jersey players took home $113,784 in prizes ranging from $2 to $600, according to White.

“Congratulations to the lottery winners and to the retailers that sold the winning tickets,” said White. “For selling the winning tickets, the retailers have become many more Lottery ‘lucky locations’ overnight.”
