Emergency responders and cleanup crews were on the scene of an overturned truck on I-80 in Paterson.
Police say the truck overturned in the eastbound lanes of the highway just at the Route 46 ramp shortly before 10 a.m.
Authorities said less than 50 gallons of diesel fuel spilled on the roadway.
Police closed the ramp as Hazmat crews conducted the cleanup. The Passaic County Health Department was called to assist in the operation.
Police say the driver was evaluated by EMS at the scene but refused medical attention.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
