NJ State Police are investigating a truck fire that occurred this afternoon on a highway in Elizabeth.
It happened at around 2:45 p.m. in the southbound lanes near mile marker 103.4
Police say the truck ignited in flames then exploded causing delays on the highway.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
There were no serious injuries reported.
